Get Inspired During “Hands On Gatlinburg” Weekend and Learn to Make Artwork from Expert Crafters

Spring into the new season by getting in touch with your creative side during “Hands On Gatlinburg” Arts & Crafts Weekend in the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community. Workshops being offered to eventgoers include everything from woodworking to glassblowing, painting, jewelry-making, watercolor, weaving, paper marbling and much more.

From April 12 through April 14, over 25 studios throughout the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community will host over 66 different workshops during this year’s “Hands On Gatlinburg” Arts & Crafts Weekend. During these guided classes, participants learn from Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community’s master craftsmen the ways and techniques to creating beautiful pieces of artwork with their very own hands.

“Hands On Gatlinburg” Arts & Crafts Weekend is the ultimate creative learning experience for those that have always wanted to try their hand at arts and crafts making. No experience is necessary to attend classes. A small fee may be required for the purchasing of class materials. Space is limited for these unique workshops, with no class exceeding more than 10 students. Those interested in signing up are encouraged to get their tickets early to ensure their chances of learning from an expert crafter.
